Abrasive papers and accessories

When using sandpapers, remember that the grit of the next paper should not exceed the previous one by more than P100, so that the traces of the previous sanding are not visible when the paint dries. When choosing the roughness, you should follow the following division: coarse sanding for large putties P80 and P120, putty sanding P120, P150, P180 and P240, fine sanding P240, P320, P360-800 and filler sanding P400-800.

Grits P800-1500 are suitable for mat sanding and drain sanding. Abrasive wool (bear's tongue) is suitable for roughening and matting surfaces. Red is rougher than gray and with red the surfaces are roughened before the sanding color and with gray the sanding color is finished before the surface color.

Don't forget to use silicone cleaner and a dust cloth after sanding, just before painting! When you thin old paint borders, the groove must be smooth, so that your fingers don't feel any kind of rise when the borders change. If you are unsure, you can try gouging by putting, for example, a plastic bag or a piece of paper between your fingers and the surface, which makes the experiment easier.
