Cause:

Contaminations: Surface contaminated with oil, wax, silicone, grease, etc. Silicones adhere tightly to the paint film and their removal requires special attention. Even small amounts, such as sanding dust or impure rags, can cause this problem.

  1. Soap or detergent residues in surface cleaning.
  2. Use of silicone-containing polishes near the painting area.
  3. Contaminated air pressure, spray gun, tools, or other equipment.
  4. Too high air pressure during spraying or the spray gun too close to the surface.

Prevention:

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly with a degreaser.
  2. Avoid using silicone polishes near the painting area.
  3. Install an air filtration system that removes oil and moisture contamination.
  4. Ensure regular maintenance of the air pressure system.
  5. Ensure that the spray gun and other pneumatic devices are properly serviced.

Correction:

  1. Sand the area, clean thoroughly, and repaint.
