Metallic colors

Metallic color in car painting is often a varnishable color that requires varnishing to achieve durability and shine. Metallic paint is made from color paste, which is actually just color without durability and shine. Varnish makes the color durable and shiny. Spraying the color mass is easy and it is important to get the color spread evenly. Two layers of color are usually enough. Color paste can also be used without metallic or mother-of-pearl, resulting in standard colors that can be varnished. Modern metallic colors are water-based and very covering and durable. Varnishing of the color mass is only done when it is completely dry, usually after about 24 hours. However, solvent-based paint is used in spray bottles and candies' shade bases, so that the final result is correct.
