Troton Master C18 is a high-quality 2K acrylic clear coat with a fast drying time.
Acrylic Clearcoat C18 is designed for car repair shops that face the daily challenge of returning repaired vehicles to their owners as quickly as possible. The use of new-generation raw materials enables a very fast drying time.

Suitable surfaces:
Acrylic clear coat can be applied to the following surfaces:
Water-based and solvent-based paints, such as Mipa WBC and Profix Aqualine.
Older paint finishes in good conditionmatted and cleaned.
IR Drying:
5–7 minutes under shortwave IR light, depending on coating thickness and type of radiator
Do not exceed 60°C temperature
Follow the equipment manufacturer's recommendations
Wait about 10 minutes before starting IR drying
Coverage:
1 liter of mixture covers10–11 m² with a 60 μm layer thickness
Blending:
Ensure the entire surface is covered with clear coat
Blend only the treated and covered area
Use Troton FADE OUT THINNER to remove dust and level optical gloss differences between the old and newly applied coating
Polishing and defect removal:
Polishing is usually unnecessary, as C18 VHS Clearcoat 2:1 provides a perfect finish immediately after application
If impurities appear on the surface, they can be removed and polished with an abrasive compound
General instructions:
Mixing ratio: 2:1, no thinner required.
Spraying viscosity: 19-20 seconds at 20°C
Pot life: 90 min at 20°C
Number of layers: 1.5. Coating thickness: 50–60 μm
HVLP spray gun: 1.3mm-1.4mm
Pressure: approx. 2 bar
⚠ Do not exceed the recommended amount of hardener!
⚠ Best repair results are achieved when painting at room temperature. The temperature of the room and the product should be similar.
⚠ Use personal protective equipment when working with 2K products. Protect eyes and respiratory tract.
⚠ Ensure good ventilation in the workspace.
⚠ Clean spray guns and tools immediately after use.
