Troton DTM Multi-purpose primer is easy to use, use it as a filler or in a wet-on-wet style.

Troton DTM is a really versatile primer that is suitable for use both as a filler and as a wet-on-wet style primer. This product combines the best features of both product groups, offering excellent filling properties and good primer adhesion, in addition to rust prevention.

DTM is suitable for metal surfaces such as aluminum, steel, galvanized and galvanized surfaces. In addition, it is also suitable for fiberglass surfaces and plastic surfaces, but use on plastic surfaces requires the use of a plastic adhesive before the primer. If you want to improve rust prevention and adhesion, you can use an acid primer before the DTM primer, but it is not necessary.

• Nozzle size: 1.3 - 1.5mm HVLP syringes
• Injection pressure: 2 bar.
• Use time of the mixture: approx. 35 minutes at 20°C
• Layers: As filler 1-2 layers for Wet-wet 1.5, i.e. gauze + wet
• Evaporation time between layers: 10 minutes
• Evaporation time before topcoat, wet-to-wet: Water-based paints approx. 35 minutes,
  acrylic and solvent-based colors 20 minutes.
