Paint Mist, Dry Surface

During the spraying process, paint mist settles on the surface, making it rough and full of tiny particles, which results in loss of gloss.

Description: Cause:

  1. Incorrect spraying technique: the spray gun is held too far from the surface, not perpendicular to it, sprayed too quickly, or used with excessively high air pressure.
  2. Incorrect viscosity or thinner.
  3. The spray gun is held too close to the surface, causing the paint mist to adhere easily.
  4. Poor ventilation in the spray booth.
  5. Failure to cover parts that do not need to be painted.
  6. A dirty or damaged spray gun.

Correction:

  1. Primer coat: Allow it to dry, then sand it.
  2. Topcoat: Lightly sand the final dry spray coat and polish.
